Marcus is currently acting as both the Manager of the Law & Technology Program, as well as teaching the Electronic Commerce Law Workshop at the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Electronic Frontier Canada, and the Free/Open Source Research Community at MIT. Marcus' recent research has focused on Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) and open-source generally, file-sharing, digital rights and information-based asset management, intelligent agents, e-commerce, and the delivery of online legal services.
