My interests include doing fun things with data, working to enact change in our backwards little world, and generally causing trouble. Much of my free time is taken up by 'How'd They Vote', which keeps track of federal and provincial politicians. I live in Victoria, BC, and work as a software developer with Refractions Research, an open-source GIS consulting company. A significant portion of my work hours are spent on an open-source GIS client called uDig. I hold an electrical engineering degree from the University of Victoria.
